April 18 Weekend Recap
Quick recap of the past weekend.
Crazy weather continues but a couple windows of opportunity for boats to get out on Lake Ontario.
The Salmon fishing is heating up all down the south shore. 20-40 FOW seems pretty productive. Both stick baits & spoon working well. Some good numbers of Coho are around too!
Plenty of Brown Trout being caught still in 8-25 FOW as well
The Catfish action is also picking up, with great numbers of quality cats being caught at the Grand River, Welland river & Jordan Harbour.
Perch & Crappie fishing is picking up too. For perch, Crystal Beach, Long Point Bay & Lake Simcoe. Crappie, the Upper Grand River, Welland River & Kawartha's. Once the weather warms up a bit more its going to get even better!
Have a great week everyone!
