  On Lake Ontario now, fishing is very good if you want to catch a mixed bag of fish. Lots of Lake Trout currently it seems from Bronte all the way towards Dalhousie. 80-130 fow is loaded. There are some nice Chinook Salmon in the mix too, the Lakets are just out-numbering them for now. There are Rainbows and Coho too, it's been a little better for them a bit further offshore. Small bright colored spoons 20-40 feet down working good.   The North shore is also producing some Chinook too along the Toronto shores. Herring rigs are producing good...

May Long Weekend Recap! Any interesting Weekend to say the least. First off we hope everyone stayed safe on & off the water with the various storms that popped up everywhere. On Lake Ontario, the Salmon fishing is getting pretty good once again and we're seeing that the kings are spreading out a bit. Dalhousie to Niagara still seems best from 100-200 generally speaking. Still lots of cohos, some more rainbows, quite a few Atlantics and some big Lake trout. Some more mixed bags catches coming out front of Grimsby/50 point & hearing reports of the same from Port Credit...

Weekend recap! Another cool April weekend. The good news is that Lake Ontario is warming up some more, and with that we saw more Salmon being caught. Jordan to Port Weller seemed to be the better areas.10-30 FOW. As always though, remember that these locations get change quickly as the water moves. Mostly stickbaits off planer boards continue to work well. Top producers are Yaleye Mooneyes, Bomber Long A's & Live Target Smelt. Some on spoons too. Weekend recap! Some cool but fishable weather on Lake Ontario this weekend. Also the start of the St Catharines Game and Fish Association's 46th annual Spring Salmon Derby. Details for that can be found here www.scgfa.ca Many boats were out and some good fishing was had all along the shoreline. many browns in shallow from 8-15 FOW 7 some Lake Trout also being caught in there and also out to 50 FOW.
