July 25 Fishing Report Update

Hey All!

Quick update for everyone.

Great fishing continues all along Lake Ontario. Seeing some bigger fish in the mix for both the Great Ontario Salmon Derby & Silver Salmon Challenge.

On any given day, you could battle with the fish of a lifetime out there. As always, we here lots of stories of the big one that got away. All you can do is put the odds in your favor by preparing your gear as best you can.

Bluffers to Newcastle continues to produce the larger fish but we continue to have had very good fishing from Grimsby to Port Dalhousie. 100-150 FOW continues to be very consistent. Here are a few color patterns that are working well. 

Over on lake Erie we are seeing some AMAZING fish now for walleye and rainbow trout. Good numbers of walleye coming in deeper water 60-80 FOW. There are fish at all depths, you just have to work the active ones. Port Colborne, Maitland & Nanticoke are all good now.
