Weekend Recap - July 11

Weekend Recap

Wow! Where do we start?

With Lake Ontario Salmon of course! Some great action was had all over the lake the last few days. The NE winds from Saturday definitely set the table for those who fished Sunday. Many quality fish caught from Dalhousie, Grimsby, Bronte, Credit & Bluffers.

We can't stress enough about the importance of having a Down temp & Speed unit ( Fish hawk, Sub Troll, Depth Raider or Smart Troll. As previously mentioned, when warm water is piled up inshore, it's very helpful to find the transition so your not unknowingly fishing in the "bath-water". As well maintaining a good troll at proper speed. Meat rigs still kicking butt out there. Fleas are showing up in some areas. Using wire instead of braid for your divers will not only repel the fleas but will give you a deeper dive curve.

A couple hot items that have been firing well the last couple days:

A-TOM-MIK Big Fin fly & a Pig Pen, Scum Line or Mountain Dew 8" Flasher
