FISHING REPORT UPDATE - OCT 16
We're into Mid October now & for those who have not put the boats away yet, there is still some really good fishing to be had. Also for those without boats, you can still get in on the action. The key is being flexible to change plans based on weather/water conditions. When you get a good window of opportunity you gotta go for it. On Lake Ontario, for this wanting to troll, if you get a nice clear calm day, you can still pursue next years crop of Chinook, Coho & Rainbows offshore. 200-250 FOW would be a good starting...

FISHING REPORT UPDATE - SEPT 25
Well as the season's turn, so do the fishing opportunities! Safe to say we're defenitely at that point now on the fishing calandar. Many of the mature Chinook Salmon are now in the rivers & harbors. Those still wanting to scratch the trolling itch on Lake Ontario can do so offshore. 150-200FOW is a good starting point. Please use caution when planning these trips as the water is getting cooler, the winds are un predictable and there will likely not many other fellow boaters out nearby if you need assistance In the coming weeks, more Brown trout, Coho & Steelhead...

Fishing Report Upddate - Sept 11
Well hopefully many of you were able to get in some fishing during the weekend! On Lake Ontario the fishing for "stagers" aka large mature Salmon continues to be very good. Top areas continue to be Port Dalhousie, Bronte & Port Credit. The warm stable weather and lack of significant rain have kept good numbers of Salmon piled up in front of these areas anywhere from right out front to about 70 fow and all along the shorelines. Flasher / fly combos continue to produce best, simple and effective. Plugs & body baits are also working very well too....
